Help protect one of Floridas most vital resources water with a summer internship at the Southwest Florida Water Management District (District). The District is a government agency whose mission is to protect water resources minimize flood risks and ensure the publics water needs are met. We serve a population of nearly 6million people in west-central Florida as directed by state law.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain real work experience and hands-on skills while supporting the Districts mission of protecting water resources. This position is a 90-day engagement working up to 40 hours per week.

$14.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on position education level and previous related experience.

These positions may require some fieldwork with the remainder of time spent in an office setting. Work environments vary by assigned business unit and position duties.

Additional Details
This position is typically scheduled to work 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Student Internship positions are not eligible for insured medical benefits or remote work.
Travel Required: travel using District vehicle within Districts coverage area.
