Description A growing civil litigation firm based in Century City is looking for an attorney to join their team in a contract-to-hire capacity. This role involves managing a high volume of discovery and drafting law and motion work in a fast-paced litigation environment. It is fully remote and can start immediately. Responsibilities: - Handle a high volume of discovery tasks, including drafting and responding to discovery requests. - Draft and revise motions, pleadings, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail. - Collaborate with the legal team to ensure timely and effective handling of cases. - Maintain accurate timekeeping and billing records to meet organizational requirements. - Utilize CRM for case management. - Stay informed on legal developments and procedural changes relevant to ongoing cases. Requirements - Active license to practice law in California and in good standing with the State Bar. - A minimum of 2 years of experience in California litigation, including discovery and law and motion work. - Proficiency in drafting discovery requests, responses, and motions. - Substantive experience in managing civil litigation cases, particularly consumer warranty. - Ability to work remotely during standard business hours, Pacific Standard Time.
