Field Property/Casualty Multi-line Claims Adjuster

Join our team at SGD as a Property/Casualty Multi-line Claims Adjuster. Some travel is required for field inspections in the San Francisco area and beyond; therefore, candidates must be local to the area. You will play a crucial role in evaluating insurance claims, preparing estimates, and facilitating the resolution process for clients. This position requires excellent communication skills, experience with handling P&C claims, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Responsibilities:
Job Description:
• Performing on-site inspections of damaged property, including roofs/attics
• Preparing estimates of repair and ITV reports using Xactimate
• Preparing inventories of damaged property, including valuations
• Performing investigation including interviews recorded statements
• Evaluating insurance coverage and drafting ROR and denial letters
• Making claim adjustment recommendations
• Preparing comprehensive reports
• Property damage and bodily injury liability investigations
• Maintaining control of a full caseload
Qualifications:
Job Qualifications: • Minimum of four years of PC claims handling experience
• Preference given to those with Property/Multi-line claims experience
• Proficient in Xactimate
• Ability to carry/use ladder and inspect roofs/attics
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams
• Works well independently while maintaining a current diary
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
