iOS Designer / Product Engineer (Elite Team, High Impact)

Location: Remote - NYC preferred but would consider strong designers remotely across the US.

Compensation: $200K - $250K

We are seeking an exceptional iOS Designer / Product Engineer to join us as one of the two dedicated experts jointly owning the entire native iOS application. If you have an extreme attention to detail, live to build beautiful products, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment, we want to hear from you.

You will be a key leader in product design and technical implementation, jointly responsible for the entire user experience, visual quality, and technical integrity of the core iOS application. You will balance design perfection with rapid shipping to deliver features that directly drive platform growth and creator success.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Ownership: Jointly own the entire native iOS application, driving both the visual design ( design ) and the functional implementation ( code ).
• Aesthetic & UX Perfection: Execute with extreme high attention to detail, obsessing over every pixel, micro-interaction, animation, and state transition to deliver a world-class user experience.
• Rapid Development: Balance the pursuit of design perfection with a relentless focus on shipping fast and iterating based on user feedback.
• Code Quality: Be passionate about maintaining a beautiful, high-quality, and scalable iOS codebase, setting the bar for engineering excellence within the product.
• Feature Delivery: Translate high-level product vision and user needs into tangible, intuitive mobile features, from initial wireframing through final deployment.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in lockstep with the founding team and other high-density team members to maintain organizational alignment and high-velocity execution.

Requirements

• High Attention to Detail: Demonstrable evidence of extreme attention to detail, coupled with an obsession for crafting flawless, delightful user interfaces and interactions.
• Portfolio: A large, existing portfolio showcasing a track record of beautifully crafted, shipped UI/UX work for native iOS applications.
• Builder Mindset: A fundamental passion for building ("you live to build, you do not build to live") and a high-agency approach to ownership.
• Technical Fluency (Design-to-Code): Strong ability to bridge the gap between design and code, comfortable working in native iOS development environments to ensure designs are perfectly realized.
• Startup DNA: Proven ability to balance the need for perfection with the need to ship fast and thrive in a small, intense, high-autonomy environment.
