QualDerm Partners is looking for a qualified PRN Medical Assistant to join our exceptional team. As a PRN Medical Assistant, you will provide crucial support during peak times by assisting with patient care and procedures. Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and collecting medical history.
• Assist the physician during procedures ensuring all necessary instruments are ready and available.
• Perform basic lab tests and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality is upheld.
• Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate office communications.
• Educate patients regarding treatment options, medications, and skincare best practices.
• Keep examination rooms orderly, fully stocked, and ready for patient use.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical role is essential.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and protocols in dermatology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software.
