Position : Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant
Location : Charming Lakes Rehabilitation and Care Center, FL
Pay Range : $32 - $38 per hour
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our healthcare team, committed to providing outstanding care and support to our residents. Key Responsibilities:
Support the Physical Therapist (PT) in delivering safe, effective, and compliant therapy.
Follow departmental policies, procedures, and dress codes, ensuring a professional environment.
Prioritize resident safety and comfort throughout all therapy activities.
Adhere to facility safety standards, infection control, and universal precautions.
Use safety equipment as needed when lifting or moving residents.
Maintain a clean and organized therapy area, ensuring necessary equipment and supplies are available.
Promptly report any hazardous conditions or equipment issues to supervisors.
Wear personal protective clothing for services involving potential exposure to blood or body fluids.
Report missing or illegible labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to your supervisor.
Requirements:
Active, unencumbered Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Florida
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing home setting
