Join a leading integrative psychiatry and mental health clinic in Cedar Rapids!
We’re seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our providers and patients in a holistic, healing environment.

At Holistic Wellness & Psychiatry, we combine evidence-based mental health care with holistic wellness therapies including Ketamine, Spravato®, IV therapy, peptide therapy, and functional medicine.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers during patient visits and treatments
• Record vital signs and maintain accurate EHR documentation
• Support Ketamine and Spravato® treatments (training provided)
• Perform injections and medication administration (within scope)
• Assist with IV therapy – experience preferred, not required
• Coordinate scheduling, insurance verification, and prior authorizations
• Manage lab orders, referrals, and refill requests
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality
• Collaborate with medical and administrative staff to ensure seamless care

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (MA), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Experience in psychiatry, mental health, or holistic medicine preferred
• BLS certification or familiarity with basic life support procedures
• Proficiency in EHR systems (IntakeQ experience a plus)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Strong attention to detail and compassionate approach to care
• IV experience preferred, but not required — training available

• Flexible schedule: Full-time (30–40 hrs/week) or Part-time (20–29 hrs/week)

Pay: $21.62 - $27.00 per hour
