Job Description

Imagine Me Mentoring, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lead Mentor to support students within Roanoke City Public Schools (elementary, middle, or high school). This role includes providing direct mentorship, facilitating group activities, and working closely with school staff to foster a positive and supportive learning environment.

Position Details:

Type: Part-time contractor position

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, between 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM for after school programs

Hours: Up to 8-12 hours per week

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

Core Responsibilities (under the supervision of the assigned Program Coordinator) includes but is not limited to the following:

• Providing leadership and support to general mentors, overseeing student-mentor relationships, and planning weekly school-based activities
• Delivering individualized and group mentorship to students, addressing behavioral, social, and emotional challenges
• Collaborating with school staff and Program Coordinators to identify at-risk students and implement effective support strategies
• Communicating consistently with parents and guardians, and participating in advocacy efforts such as IEP meetings
• Tracking and reporting student progress through regular assessments and data collection
