Qualifications Must hold a journeyman electrician license. Valid driver’s license. Ability to set up and climb ladders if necessary. Ability to drive long distances. Strong attention to detail. Previous solar experience is a plus. Responsibilities Represent the company at customers' homes prior to the solar inspection. Meet with the Municipal or Utility Inspector and provide necessary information regarding the solar installation process and system components. Perform maintenance and repair on customers’ solar systems during inspection. Address any issues to ensure the system passes inspection, such as electrical fixes. Obtain daily or weekly routes from the warehouse containing project documentation required for inspection. Review site conditions and perform pre-inspection tasks, such as completing labeling and fastening bolts. Arrive 15 minutes prior to the inspection start time to meet the inspector onsite. Assist the inspector with opening solar equipment or main panels. Complete rapid shutdown tests if required and properly commission the system if necessary. Benefits Gas card and EZPass provided.
