This requires an understanding of the activities being performed with respect to accounting and finance theory. This is an entry level position. - May assist in the performance of budget versus actual analysis, identify variances, and document causes - Make proactive, positive contributions to the team - Clearly communicate financial results - Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines - Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines - Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff - Other duties as assigned **Basic Job Requirements** - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors - Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job - Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines - Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner **Other Job Requirements** - Keep apprised of changes in governmental, professional, and internal reporting requirements, accounting principles and standards through analysis of published materials, attendance at professional meetings and seminars, and discussions with corporate-wide financial professionals **Preferred Qualifications** - Demonstrated basic interpersonal and communication skills - Demonstrated dependability and reliability - Ability to deliver timely and accurate information - Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other personal computer applications - Ability to learn and use Fluor's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and other information technology systems We are an equal opportunity employer. Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate's qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
