**Job Summary and Responsibilities** **Are you ready to be a vital part of our fast-paced Emergency Department team?** We're seeking a skilled and dedicated ED Technician to directly support physicians and nurses in delivering critical patient care. **What You'll Do:** + **Hands-on Care:** Assist physicians with procedures, prepare wounds, apply dressings, monitor vital signs, and establish IV access/perform phlebotomy as ordered. + **Essential Skills:** Perform 12-Lead EKGs, apply OrthoGlass Splints, and transport patients. + **Team Collaboration:** Coordinate patient care with staff, ensure department readiness (stocking/cleaning), and provide ED support as needed. + **On-Call Ready:** Must be able to respond to emergencies with a **30-minute response time** when on call. **Shift:** Casual Part-Time, Varied **Job Requirements** **What We're Looking For:** Individuals who thrive in a high-volume, dynamic environment, possess strong attention to detail, and are dedicated to patient well-being. **Minimum Qualifications:** + **Education:** High School Graduate or GED. + **Experience (ONE of the following):** One (1) year direct patient care, Paramedic/EMT certification, OR completion of second term Nursing Curriculum. + **Certifications:** American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers + **Skills:** Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
