We’re hiring Community Outreach Assistants to join our mission-aligned nonprofit team focused on creating real change in local communities .
This is a paid, entry-level position —no prior nonprofit experience is required. Just bring your passion, empathy, and drive to serve. We provide comprehensive training, one-on-one mentorship , and real-world experience in grassroots outreach, advocacy , and program coordination .
Build and maintain relationships with local residents, nonprofits, and community partners
Assist in organizing and executing community outreach events , workshops, and education campaigns
Support volunteer coordination , stakeholder engagement, and grassroots mobilization
Gather feedback from community members and help track event participation and outcomes
Represent the organization at forums, public meetings, and outreach events with empathy and professionalism
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure programs reflect equity, inclusion , and community voice
An empathetic, mission-driven communicator who values human connection
Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and follow-through
A deep interest in social justice, advocacy , or public service
A dependable team player who can flexibly support local events and field activities
No prior experience required—just a genuine desire to serve and grow in the nonprofit space
