Join to apply for the Assistant District Attorney role at Bronx County District Attorney Office Job Summary The Bronx District Attorney is committed to serving the over 1.4 million members of the Bronx County community through the Office’s groundbreaking mission of “Pursuing Justice with Integrity.” We are seeking experienced trial attorneys to join the Homicide Bureau, which handles some of the most complex and sensitive cases. Candidates should have a minimum of seven years of criminal trial experience and at least five felony jury trials. Reporting to the Chief of Homicide, ADAs will manage cases from investigation through trial. Job Responsibilities Prosecute homicides from investigation through trial Serve rotations of 24-hour on-call duty Respond to crime scenes Conduct witness and/or defendant interviews Draft search warrants, trap and traces, and cell site orders Present homicide cases to the grand jury Establish and maintain relationships with witnesses and families Handle a high-volume caseload efficiently Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Juris Doctor degree required Minimum of 7 years of criminal trial experience Minimum of 5 violent felony jury trials U.S. citizenship and New York State residency required as of first day of employment Member in good standing of the NY State Bar Strong judgment, ethics, and excellent communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle high-volume cases Availability to work nights, holidays, and weekends as needed To apply, please submit your cover letter, resume, and three professional references.
