**We are Looking for a Medical Device Manufacturing Technician!!**
**Job Description**
Join our innovative team in the manufacturing of medical devices, specializing in catheter assembly under a microscope. This role involves precision and adherence to industry standards, ensuring the highest quality of products.
**Responsibilities**
+ Follow and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, Line Clearance, Work Instructions, assembly methods, product handling methods, production drawings, Good Documentation Practices, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and Safety requirements.
+ Successfully complete training on production tasks and understand travelers/routers, material identification, and the use of microscopes and production/inspection tools.
+ Operate tools and equipment, completing necessary documentation.
+ Perform equipment set-up, operation, and in-process inspection to accomplish assigned tasks.
+ Collaborate with Engineers and Supervisors to ensure product integrity and quality.
+ Assist Engineers in developing process documentation.
+ Conduct inventory counts.
+ Perform other duties as assigned, following verbal instructions.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with microscope assembly, catheter assembly, and inspection.
+ Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures and Line Clearance.
+ Effective communication skills.
+ Experience working with adhesives like Loctite, EFD dispensers, and UV curing systems.
+ Proficiency in cleanroom and production environments.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 3-5 years of experience in medical device assembly and production or small electronics.
+ Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or prototyping environment.
+ Experience in manufacturing catheter products is a plus.
+ Ability to use safety equipment for lab work.
+ Previous microscope and medical assembly experience.
+ Prior cleanroom experience.
+ Ability to understand and perform in-process inspections to assure quality.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, CA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $33.35/hr.
